8TH ANNUAL LONG BEACH PAROL LANTERN FESTIVAL
KUBO Organizing Project and KUBO LB presents the 8th Annual Long Beach Parol Lantern Festival, a holiday event to celebrate Filipino community and culture. The festival showcases one of the community’s most honored traditions by creating and displaying the parol, a star-shaped lantern signifying hope and joy. This year’s theme is “Light the Way”.
The 8th Annual Long Beach Parol Lantern Festival will showcase the Filipino culture, small businesses, and multiple crafting workshops to create parol lanterns. Attendees are encouraged to display their star-shaped creations in the event’s parol showcase for a chance to earn prizes. This FREE community celebration will take place in Bixby Knolls at Expo Arts Center (4321 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90807).
